Locations to be metered
The table below sets out areas already being metered and the areas the Metering Team have planned to go into next.
The rationale used for selecting and prioritizing the areas described in the table below were based on identification of areas with key environmental features, the geographic location of the areas and levels of licensed private abstraction, and other competing uses which may be impacting on these environmental features.
Additional areas to continue meter installations will be selected on the basis of significant impact on water resources in the area, competing interests having potential for impact, usefulness of data obtained from the area for the purpose of future decision making for planning and water resource management.
