Community Water Supply Program
The Community Water Supply Program (CWSP) provides grants of up to $100,000 for community water supply improvements in dryland agricultural areas receiving fewer than 600 mm average annual rainfall.
Emergency farmland water response planning and water deficiency arrangements
Emergency farmland water response plans outline a six step process for farmers to follow in the event that water is needed from off-farm sources. The plans also highlight the process for the approval of a declaration under the government's Water Deficiency Declaration guidelines.
Farm Water Supply Planning Scheme
If you are commercial broadacre farmer experiencing water shortages you can apply for rebates to fund an audit and site inspection of your farm water supply and improvements under the Farm Water Supply Planning Scheme.
Farm Water Rebate Scheme
The Farm Water Rebate Scheme closed 31 May 2018. All claims must be submitted by 30 October 2019 to receive final payment.
Pastoral Water Grants Scheme
The Pastoral Water Grants Scheme provides grants of up to $20 000 for commercial pastoralists looking to develop alternative watering points to ease grazing intensity around existing overgrazed and degraded water supplies. The scheme closed on 30 June 2018. Final claims need to be submitted by 30 October 2019 to receive final payment.
