Farm Water Supply Planning Scheme
Rebates for Western Australian broadacre farmers experiencing water shortages
The Farm Water Supply Planning Scheme provides a rebate to commercial broadacre farmers to fund an audit of their water supply.
A farm water auditor will make a site inspection to help farmers develop a water supply plan which will identify ways to improve the sustainability of their on-farm water supplies.
Applications may be made at any time.
The rebate is available to Western Australian commercial broadacre farmers.
Eligible farmers may apply for funding of up to $1,000 to cover 50% of the audit cost.
To be eligible, you must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for the goods and services tax (GST)
- have a commercial broadacre farm located in Western Australia
- be located in an eligible shire.
