Waterways management, action and recovery plans

Regional natural resource management groups have developed a range of plans for waterway management and restoration, with the assistance of the Department of Water. These include:

  • river action plans
  • river recovery plans
  • waterway management plans and programmes.

Some waterway, foreshore and channel condition assessments, riparian surveys and flood studies are included where they provide recommendations for managing waterways. Waterways management plans are listed alphabetically by Department of Water region.
